Wondering if my Garmin nüvi® 1490LMT has the ability to set speed limit, say 5 mph faster than posted AND is there a audio alarm (along w/ color turning red when one exceeds posted speed limit)? |

Think you both may have to learn how to program the mapping, as that is where the warnings are located..

I have the same GPS. It would be nice to do this, but can't be done. The most we have is a red speed limit sign when you go above the posted speed limit. Let Garmin know we want this.
