I'm having a problem with my Samsung Omnia II running Garmin XT, Australia map 2010. The GPS works great, although today I decided to update the POI.

I downloaded the 4 camera 'customer files' in .csv and .mp3 format. The GPS knows the camera is there and gives a quiet bell sound which is probably being played by the standard Garmin software. Although I would like the .mp3 voice notification since it's much louder and notifying! The bell sound has to be somewhere in the Garmin file on my phone and I cant find it, to replace it with the mp3.

I tried .wav files but POI loader doesn't accept them on to my device.

Also the .bmp files are just for the map icons right?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Use the poi loader to upload POIs. You cannot upload them manually as you will need to convert them to a usable format.
