I've just acquired a motorhome that came with a Blaupunkt Lucca 5.3 SatNav.
I am trying to find out the format that this SatNav requires for POI files so that, for instance, I could acquire a POI file for all motorhome sites in France.
However, it appears from the Blaupunkt manuals that this model does not have a published format for POI files and that my only option is to purchase some additional software.
Please can anyone confirm this?
This is my first SatNav so please be gentle!

You can use Garmin or Blaupunkt POI files (CSV) or Navigon ASC POI files for Lucca 5.3. You have to download and install a third party Poi Warner software first. Same as with Medion, Navigon, Clarion, Novogo and a few other GPS brands.
I have no idea why they can't make it as simple and easy as Garmin does with their poiloader.

You can't expect it from a German GPS brand as it is not legal in Germany.
The use of speed camera database whilst driving in Germany is an offence.

I have finally got round to exploring the way to handle POI files as suggested in a previous message.
Getting used to the Lucca 5.3 was quite a long learning curve but now that I've had it a few months I am actually quite pleased with the device.
