I know that by adding "speed" or TourGuide" to a file name will have an effect on the alert system in Garmin files. I'm new to the GPS POI experience and I find that some of the POI's I have downloaded and use have _V at the end of them (ie. Rest_Area_V.csv).
Does the _V have any unique on the GPS?

It denotes the file has been run through one of the POI verifier programs to check the lat/long coordinates are in the proper part of the world.
