I was given a SATNAV but have lost the box and instructions. Can anyone tell me what make I have and how to get updates? It is loaded with a map of Europe.
Above the screen are the words GPS Navigation System, below the letters GPS
On the back a Bar Code HD500078143
Then
MS WindowsCE
ROHS FC CE
The system shows as:
Romversion: 17C6.YF.S1.3.13
Processor: ATLAS III
RAM Size: 64 MB
Software Version: V2.0.0.5.9
ID: 2D01FDFD000000BF
I cannot see a makers name. What have I got and how can I updateit? Is there a manual for it?
Any help gratefully received.

Hi
what I think you have is and boot leg gps.
Most likely made in China or there about. What you need to do is conect it up to your PC and click on my computer and open the satnav and near the bottom you should have a file called info.el
Open that with notepad and you should have make and model, also the software version your running.
Hope this helps

| Yes this sounds like a generic model, should be able to run any of a range of gps programs, just select one that will run on windows CE.
