Hi I have a Navman N40i for which I recently purchased a map update set for Australia from a Navman supplier. As I have done map updates before I did not think I would have any problems. Using the provided link software I have followed all the directions. I have attempted to use this communication software with 4 different computers on each it tells me the active sync (updated to V4.5 from MS) has connected but the Navman SmartST software keeps telling me that the SmartST software is not loaded on the Navman do I want to load it I then answer yes and so it goes round and round same prompt same answer never gets to and end. Help has anyone got the answer please. Navman has not. |

I had a similar problem with my PDA (ie. not being able to transfer any data).
Turned out to be the firewall software that was conflicting (stopping any data transfer).
Make sure that your internet connection is turned off & then turn off the firewall and try transferring the data again between the Navman & the PC.
