I have followed the directions explicitly and the POI Loader program indicates, for example, "2 entries successfully uploaded" [or similar language]. However, when I try to search on the Nuvi for the new POI's, they just can not be found. Have tried using the "near different city" feature, "spell" feature, etc, under the POI menu, but no luck.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks.

| I found mine under the EXTRA's box, but didn't need to unzip them. What I can't figure out is how to get the POI's to show on the map when driving

I too have the Nuvi 260w.
These definitely show up in the Extras areas as Custom POIs.
When I first used the POI Loader, these didn't show up in Extras.
Try the POI Loader again and select 'Manual' mode rather than 'Express' mode. I found this worked for me.

| When you download the POI file (in GPX) format, also download a .bmp file of the symbol of POI file you're downloading - to the same folder, with the same file name as the gpx file just a different extension - ie: dowload timhortonscanada.gpx (poi file) and the timhortonscanada.bmp symbol file. As long as they're in the same folder the poiloader will do the rest. then it will be located in the extras like the others said.

When Driving, you have to be zoomed in lower than 500ft to see them on the map. Or if you search them under Custom POIs they will show... but only the one you searched for.
