Hi,
I have a .csv file and i want to add more tim hortons in Canada POI
Here's a sample from the .csv file:
...
-114.048531, 51.011072, "Tim Hortons 100 - 723 46 Ave SE Calgary AB T2G 2A4 CA (403) 243-7028"
-79.639064, 43.592221, "Tim Hortons 100 City Centre Dr Mississauga ON L5B 2C9 CA (905) 848-0212"
....
I m using the Garmin POI Loader but none of them are added ... or they are added but I don't see them.
Is there anything specific that i have to do ? Do I manually copy this somewhere or ...
Please let me know ?

| I loaded all the Canadian and US Starbuck locations in CVS format using the Garmin POI loader downloadeable from their website and it worked great.

So did I, and when i do a search i can't find them.
Ok here's how I do it:
1) Load the POI with Garmin POI Loader
2) Go to POI
3) Search near a city: i put the city that's in the csv file
4) Spell name: Tim Hortons (for example)
and it can't find it !!!!
What's wrong ?

Hi,
do you guys have a proper procedure to import these files to Garmin 250W .
They all come in to favorites !!!!

You should load CSV file with POI Loader. Direct transfer is for direct favorite POI management.

Hi,
I have the same problem with my Nuvi 200. I loaded the POI using POI Loader from Garmin site. I see a message, successfully loaded.
But when I search, I do not see the listings that I added?

I loaded the speed trap file and none of them appears in the POI list.

When POI are uploaded to your 250W they are located in "Extras"-->Custom POI.Click on it-it will show You uploaded POI database.

POI Loader is used for UPLOAD your POI list to your GPS. POI Editing (adding,removing,editing waypoint information) s/b done manually in .csv sheet,saved and then uploaded.
