| Is it possible to enter longitude and latitude into the c340 and, if so, just how does one do that? I think the answer is probably "no" but thanks anyway...

Follow this:
Let's say you want to find the coordinates of the Mount Rushmore National Monument.
From the 'Where to?' of the Main Menu, select 'Browse Map.' Using the '-' button, zoom out a considerable way (e.g. 50 miles) Now slide your finger on the screen pushing or pulling your map to e.g. South Dakota.
Tap once in the center of South Dakota and a small arrow will move there.
Now tap [Set Location] and it will have your instrument think that your car is now located somewhere in the middle of South Dakota and your car mark will appear there.
Press your 'Back' button a couple of times and return to the Main Menu.
Now tap the Where to? > Food Lodging > Attractions > All Attractions > Spell Name > type in 'Rushmore' > Done
As you can see, using Coordinate finder and saving that POI to your favorites is much fater.
Cheers
