You can delete POI files thay you do not need from the directory where they were loaded with POI loader software. Leave only file(s) that you need.
POI loader will delete removed files and reload files that you leave in the data directory. This works on all POI Loader supported Garmin GPS devices.

| I have just loaded the BP Fuels POI file and now I cannot remove it. It shows under Custom Points. I have followed all the instructions and can add and remove other POI files. Any ideas? cheers Peter

| But what about removing the preloaded POI's that I don't need like schools and churches and junk? They're not in a directory to remove.

| Unfortunately, they are there to stay since the internal POIs cannot be updated nor removed. That is one of the reasons custom POIs are so popular.
