I've got a Nuvi 270 but find that the default preloaded POIs (food, lodging, entertainment, etc...) cover up too much of the map in urban areas.

I use the gps as a pedestrian and would rather see just clear street names and landmarks instead of icons of where all the italian restaurants are in italy.

Is there any way I can only show certain POIs?
