| have downloaded safety camera info direct to device where they went to favorites but no warning shows as i approach location. am i supposed to have something in the extra's folder to activate poi's?

Hi, your problem is already explained here. You should use csv file for Garmin. Load it with POI Loader and you'll be okay.
