I have loaded the Australian school zones onto my Garmin Nuvi 300. I also have Ozzi redlight and speed cameras loaded, each as a Garmin 'Comma separated file'. When I move through the redlight and speed cameras, the tones are activated, but not through school zones. Does this have something to do with the way I saved the downloaded school zone file to my computer? If so, can you please advise me the correct way to load the school zones onto the Nuvi.
Thanks. |

I wonder if it has to do with the setup you used, did you (for example) also add a sound file? did you select for a sound to be played with that POI. I know my Navman requires me to specify a sound for each of the "personal" POIs I load.
No idea if Garmin is the same, but might be worth a try.

| I beleve , if you have to have a school zone to be activated you need to specify a sound for it only if you want to be notifyed when you are in that zone. It is optional with Garmin and only supported on models 7xx and above.
