I have loaded the school zones onto my Garmin Nuvi 300. I also have redlight and speed cameras loaded, each as a excel file 'Comma separated file'. When I move through the redlight and speedcameras, the tones are activated, but not through school zones. Does this have something to do with the way I saved the downloaded school zone file to my computer. If so, can you please advise me the correct way to load the school zones onto the nuvi. Please. |

I wonder if it has to do with the setup you used, did you (for example) also add a sound file? did you select for a sound to be played with that POI. I know my Navman requires me to specify a sound for each of the "personal" POIs I load.
No idea if Garmin is the same, but might be worth a try.
