Can anyone tell me how to adjust the volume control on the voice alerts(independant of the standard voice) after installation.
I have them operating OK, but would like to adjust the volume up a little(being a little deaf).
Also, I would like a larger range of them for other safety warnings e.g .blackspots, speed cameras, school crossings etc.
Thanks,

If you are using the OGG file format, as used by the latest TT systems, for additional warnings then the easiest way is to use something like Audacity.
See http://tomtom.gps-data-team.com/tomtom_voices.php and tweek up the volume on the ogg file itself.
To generate new warnings specific to other poi catagories try http://www.research.att.com/~ttsweb/tts/demo.php#top
It generates a WAV file you can download and modify to the OGG format with Audacity.
Try it!

Record your own voices with Sound Recorder, convert them to ogg format and use as personalised voice alerts.
Go to
Start > Run > sndrec32.exe
Start > All Programs > Accessories > Entertainment > Sound Recorder
Can someone recommend where I can find good soundtrack with Paris Hilton?

Thanks Mate...sorry for the delay in acknowledging your response.
that helped Ok, but when I record my own voice with audacity (in ogg format) my TomTom does not recognise it. I understand from reading other posts in the forums that TomTom doesn't necessarily recognise these alerts, as other people seem to have a similar problem with activating .ogg alerts.
