I note Mark's comments about the questionable need for these POI's. My comment is that when I am away from my local area and don't know the streets, I can somehow concentrate more on the signs and the general environs and I'm much more likely to spot them - but in my local area they seem to be invisible! The multiple speed signs, 40, 50 & 60 in our area along with the complexities of the school zones makes for some stressful times that could be assisted with good POI's. |

I agree... That is the reason why we published AU school zones POI file.
You can download them for any area that you need: http://www.gps-data-team.com/map/

Hi Mark, I am a newbee so sorry if my question is stating the obvious. I have travelled around your site several times, maybe Im missing something?
I downloaded the school zone POI. All good, but the two schools in my area are not on the list. Can I add somehow or is there a full list for members?
I followed the link you added above but can find nothing on school zones.
Schools are Lapstone Public NSW & Glenbrook Public NSW.
