5 leemcnally Nuvi 780 Packed with built-in POIs, Where am I feature with nearby emergency services, multi waypoint routes not available on previos Nuvi generations, very good bluetooth phone integration, including address book Relatively weak internal antenna (not as sensitive as Nuvi 6xx series); confusing information on WAAS capability (not clear whether WAAS is turned on or off on unit); no avoidance feature for minor roads or built-up areas with traffic lights; no marking on map to distinguish classification of roads, such Farm To Market versus State Highways; often refers to local road names which are not marked, rather than marked highway number signs; 7
6 sonter nuvi 660 Good screen size, spoken street names some inaccuracy in street data ie. 2 year old closures still in latest file. No routing capability. 7

16 bradterri Garmin Nuvi 260 I am totally impressed with the Nuvi 260. I havent had a GPS before and this one seems as good as I could have wanted. It talks the street names, & Accurately gets me everywhere I have wanted to go. The ability to plan your destination ahead of time & save the addresses you want to go to in favourites is great. I have not found a weakness yet. 9

45 vince Garmin Zumo 550 Waterproof - Screen is readable in sun light - both necessary for a Motorcycle. Screen is a bit small - in theory you can use the touch screen with gloves but it makes a big difference on the type of glove you use. 5
46 jim2 Garmin nuvi 660 General design and layout of the nuvi is first class. Excellent product, except for the weaknesses mentioned below. 1. Too many inaccurate road layouts. Therefore, it is the maps and not the device which is at fault here.
2. Jumpy map refreshing - Tom Tom is much smoother.

48 kharrap2 Garmin Streetpilot c320 convenience of portability and ability to obtain maps for most continents difficult to see in bright sunlight 6
49 johnh72 TomTom Go720 New machine, seems very good so far.
Love the FM transmitter that allows you to listen to mp3s and phone calls through the car stereo. Being able to record and download voices for a bit of variety is useful, as is the ability to correct maps and upload/download corrections through mapshare. Spot on with timing for turns, seemless calculation of a new route if a turn is missed.
Being able to verbally enter an address is also handy though sometimes the recognition is a bit hit and miss.
With the fm trasmitter, mp3 player and hands free phone setup, its a pity they didnt also build in an fm receiver to listen to the radio whilst utilising the car stereo for the device.
I was dissapointed some services appear not to be provided to Australia such as saftey cameras and traffic.
With POI warnings, it would also be great if you could click on the POI icon when it appears on the screen to get more information ie, name of a tourist attraction.

50 garysmiths Garmin Zumo 550 Zumo 550 is excellent in every way that I have used it so far although I havent had it a long time. No known faults that Ive come across other than poor instruction on downloading and formatting SD cards. 9
